
Value added services provided by SSW to our member Hospitals and customers is the provision of the following:
Metrics - SSW provides regular metrics on purchasing productivity, logistics and contract savings to our members and customers.
Guidelines - SSW provides support and direction to our Hospitals on the implementation of Provincial procurement policies. SSW mitigates procurement risks to our Hospitals as our sourcing, procurement and logistics processes and policies comply with the Ministry of Finance SCG.
Controls - SSW has embedded financial procurement controls and has segregated duties to mitigate financial risk to our members and customers.
HST - SSW provides consultative support to our Hospitals on the management and process implementation/system transition to support the newly imposed HST.
